Myrtian Blue Events LTD provides full event management service in cooperation with venues and suppliers that are regarded as the company’s official partners.
Description of Services
- Unlimited consultations via email/telephone.
- Face to face consultations when you arrive in Kefalonia.
- Full event coordination.
- A tailor made solution plan for your wedding.
- Integration of all legalities and documentation.
- Completion of venue details.
- Completion of all catering requirements.
- Organization of any specific equipment (fireworks, karaoke, dancers, etc).
- Meeting and greeting all clients at point of arrival.
- Transportation from accommodation to event centre as required.
Fees and Payment Schedule
On acceptance of cooperating with Myrtian Blue Events LTD for the arrangement of your wedding, we will require you to pay a non-refundable booking fee (20% of the whole deposit), with the final balance due four weeks before the wedding date. This fee protects us from losses in the event that you decide not to go ahead with your arrangements, after we have already committed resources. All proposals are subject to approval and availability of the services.
Full payment is due four weeks before the wedding date.
Please note that agreement is based on number of guests stated in original agreement and that no price will be reduced for a decrease in numbers.
Payment Policy
Bank transfer (Payment only in Euros).
Changes/Cancellations
Cancellations of booked weddings are only effective on receipt of written notification. Charges levied for cancellation prior to the wedding date are as follows:
- Cancellation of wedding due to no fault of Myrtian Blue Events LTD, full deposit retained.
- Up to three weeks before the wedding, 50% of wedding charge retained.
- Three weeks or less before the wedding, full payment of wedding retained.
Delays
Neither Myrtian Blue Events LTD nor its agents shall be held responsible for the consequences of any delays, whether arising from accidents, breakdowns, airlines not running to schedule or any other cause.
It is the clients’ sole responsibility to make sure they arrive in Kefalonia in adequate time (Civil marriages require the couple to be on Kefalonia 8 days before date of wedding).
Acts of God
If an act of God, such as a fire, flood, earthquake or other natural calamity shall cause the cancellation of the wedding, neither Myrtian Blue Events LTD nor its agents are responsible and shall retain the whole deposit.
Travel and other Legal Documents
It is the responsibility of the client to be in possession of valid passports, and all other legal documents, as advised.
Insurance
It is a condition of booking, that the sole responsibility lies with the client to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves for the duration of their trip. Insurance should cover, but not be limited to, personal injury, medical expenses, emergency evacuation back home, loss of luggage and the expenses associated with cancellation or curtailment of a holiday. Myrtian Blue Events LTD, its agents or employees will take no responsibility for any costs, losses incurred or suffered by our client or guest’s dependants with regard to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Guests will be charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find themselves in a position unable to access such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance cover.
Image and Video Use Policy
The married couple grants to Myrtian Blue Events LTD, its legal representatives, assignees, and those acting under its authority, the unrestricted right and permission to use and publish photographic portraits or pictures as well as videos that the company’s professional photographer will take of the couple and the wedding guests, for advertisement purposes on the company’s official website and the company’s social media profiles.
In the unlikely event of a legal dispute, this agreement shall be interpreted by and according to the laws of the United Kingdom.
